How to Participate

The Control Challenge is inspired by Joseph Pilates’ principle of Contrology and enhanced through yoga modalities that emphasize breath, mindfulness, and presence.


This challenge invites you to reclaim control of your mind, body, breath, and spirit, not by doing more, but by moving with intention.

 

Each activity ties back to one or more of these pillars:

 

  • Control – intentional movement & alignment

  • Breath – conscious breathing & nervous system regulation

  • Mindfulness – presence, awareness, and slowing down

  • Strength + Stability – intelligent, functional strength

  • Consistency – showing up regularly, not perfectly

 

When: February 1-February 28

How to Earn Points

1. Class Attendance (Foundation of Control)

Showing up matters but mindful attendance matters more.

  • Any Pilates or Yoga Class:
    ➝ 10 points per class

  • Attending “Control” class➝ 15 point bonus

  • 2 classes in one day:
    ➝ 5 point bonus
  • Control Your Routine
    ➝ Maintain 3 classes per week to STAY IN THE CHALLENGE

2. Breath + Control In Practice

We want to encourage you to slow down in and outside of YOUR studio…yes, your. We believe this studio is YOURS as much as it is ours.

  • All classes will start with a 2 minute breath work practice.

  • Personal Practice
    ➝ 5 point bonus if you log and share your breath work practice outside of the studio. 5 pts each day of practice.

  • Sound Healing & Candlelight Renew Attendance
    ➝ 15 point bonus by attending these sessions as the goal of these classes are to slow your breath, find space to center and release control in order to unwind. Full nervous system reboot. 

3. Wellness Day to Day

Control extends beyond just being on your mat.

  • Hydrate Your Body
    ➝ 5 point bonus if you log and share you have met your hydration goal 
  • Rest is for the Strong
    ➝ 5 point bonus if you log and share you have met your sleep goal (7+ hours)
  • Nourish your Hardwork
    ➝ 5 point bonus daily if you log and share you have had a nourishing & intentional meal

Loosen the reigns and build community with us by engaging off the mat.
